Our mission is to be and make disciples for the glory of God and the good of our neighbors.

In other words, Flatrock exists to serve our neighbors in hopes of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ through biblically sound, Christ-centered, confessional worship, meeting the felt needs of our neighbors, transformational community, and committed prayer. We want to be a church that celebrates and reflects the unique personality and culture of Woodbine.

We are called as Christians to seek the “shalom of the city” wherever God leads us. We carry out this calling through intentional prayer and proclaiming the gospel through the power of the Holy Spirit. We do so in hopes of making disciples and seeing people’s lives changed for the glory of God.

Our vision is to reach Nashville one neighborhood at a time.

Flatrock Community Church's dream is to plant local, parish-model churches in other neighborhoods of Nashville. Flatrock Community Church was planted by West End Community Church in 2016 to be in the neighborhood of Woodbine. We would also love to plant churches in the surrounding neighborhoods such as Glencliff, Woodland Hills, and Raymon Heights.
